NumloomCalculation setup — values are entered in Runner.Preview

DTF powder consumption by transfer count

Set these parameters: “Mass per piece”. In Numloom, enter “Number of transfers” (items) to obtain “Powder mass” (g).

Calculations currently require access to Numloom on Google Play Internal Testing. iPhone and iPad support is planned.

How it works

Powder mass = Number of transfers × Mass per piece

In Numloom: “Number of transfers” → “Powder mass”.

items → g

Mass per piece · g/item

This page shows the formula and parameters. The calculation runs in Numloom.

Assumptions and limits

Calculation basis: “Number of transfers” (items) → “Powder mass” (g). Use the parameters shown for this particular operation.

Measure consumption for this design and printing process. Allowance and fixed reserve are separate; a coefficient for ink does not describe powder or film.

Enter a whole number of the items counted.

Coefficient sources

Initial settings: Mass per piece = 2 g/item (demonstration value).

These starting values are not a standard, calibration certificate or manufacturer recommendation. Replace them with values measured for your process or specified for your product.
