NumloomCalculation setup — values are entered in Runner.Preview

Load cell millivolts to weight

Set these parameters: “Signal at the lower calibration point”, “Difference between upper and lower signals”, “Difference between output values”, “Output at the lower calibration point”. In Numloom, enter “Sensor output voltage” (mV) to obtain “Weight” (kg).

Calculations currently require access to Numloom on Google Play Internal Testing. iPhone and iPad support is planned.

How it works

Weight = (Sensor output voltage − Signal at the lower calibration point) × Difference between output values ÷ Difference between upper and lower signals + Output at the lower calibration point

In Numloom: “Sensor output voltage” → “Weight”.

mV → kg

Signal at the lower calibration point · mV
Difference between upper and lower signals · mV
Difference between output values · kg
Output at the lower calibration point · kg

This page shows the formula and parameters. The calculation runs in Numloom.

Assumptions and limits

Calculation basis: “Sensor output voltage” (mV) → “Weight” (kg). Use the parameters shown for this particular operation.

Use the sensor's measured zero and span under the actual excitation conditions. Millivolts and millivolts per volt are not interchangeable; this linear model does not establish sensor accuracy.

Enter a non-negative value in the app.

Coefficient sources

Initial settings: Signal at the lower calibration point = 0 mV (demonstration value); Difference between upper and lower signals = 10 mV (demonstration value); Difference between output values = 100 kg (example in the original task description); Output at the lower calibration point = 0 kg (demonstration value).

These starting values are not a standard, calibration certificate or manufacturer recommendation. Replace them with values measured for your process or specified for your product.
